Michel Decotte - Amber Rose Brut

This cuvée lives up to its name. The colour is amber, tinged with orange highlights. The effervescence is abundant and rapid, creating a small bead of foam on the surface. The overall presentation of this rosé is appetizing.

The initial nose is both rare and delicious; it blends saffron and orange against a background of delicate fruits (raspberry). After aeration, the fruitiness appears riper (Mirabelle plum, plum brandy), and the Pinot's animal character emerges (cured ham) along with some spices (white pepper).

This complex and summery nose heralds a full-bodied and delicious wine. The palate is harmonious and opens into a full-bodied and voluminous wine.
